Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Delivery/Transport Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves ensuring timely and safe delivery of our steel products to various locations. As a key representative of Pacific Steel on the road, you will uphold our values by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive vehicles to transport steel products, ensuring timely delivery.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety and compliance with regulations.
• Manage documentation, including delivery notes and logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers.
• Maintain compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in loading and unloading products in a safe and secure manner.
• Report any incidents or mechanical problems encountered during your shift.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Proven experience as a Delivery or Transport Driver, preferably in the steel or heavy goods industry.
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A clean driving record and strong safety mindset.
• Ability to handle physical workload, including occasional lifting as well as Tarping loads during in climate weather.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in route planning and logistics optimization.
• Familiarity with Nampa, ID and surrounding areas.
• Tarping and proper load securement.

• Achieve positive customer feedback for service quality.
